In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Some of Al-Imam Al-Jawad (A.S.) wills
Occasion: The Martyrdom of Al-Imam Al-Jawad (A.S.)
We offer our condolences to Al-Imam Al-Mahdi (May God hasten his appearance), to the supreme leader of the Muslims al-Imam Al-Khamenei (May God keep him), and to all Muslims especially strugglers, in the martyrdom of Imam Mohammad Al-Jawad (A.S.) in the twenty nine of dhul- keada.
Some of Al-Imam Al-Jawad (A.S.) wills:
He said (A.S.), "the human ancestry is from the perfection of generosity avoiding odious things".
His shyness, "never meet anyone with what he hates, and brain perfection is to have mildness in dealing with others".
His politeness, "never leave what he needs, and from gratitude: knowing his time.
His pious, "lowering his gaze, chastity of his stomach, and his good manners, not to hurt anyone".
His generous, "returning people's right and taking out Allah's right from his own assets".
His ancestors, "leaving what he is not concerned about, and avoiding argument and ostentatious in his religion".
His generosity, "to deem wise and his patience, the paucity of his complaint".
His brain perfection, "fairness to himself, and from patience, leaving anger when dissent".
His equity; "accepting right if it was shown to him, and his counsel, to interdict against all what he prohibits himself toward".
His protection for his neighborhood, "avoid blaming you when you offense, eventhough he knows your disgrace".
His mildness, "never blame you while you are nervous in the presence of whom you dislike".
His good fellowship, "overthrowing hurt of you; his friendship, he agrees more than he rejects".
His propriety; "the severity of fairness about his sins; his thanking, knowing the one who gives him charity".
His modesty, "knowing his value, and his wisdom, knowing himself.
His safety, "leaving others blotches, and concerning about his blotches".
And he said (A.S.): chastity is the embellishment of poorness, thanking is the embellishment of richness, patience is the embellishment of scourge, modesty is the embellishment of ancestry, eloquence is the embellishment of talking, equity is the embellishment of believe, quietness is the embellishment of worship, retain is the embellishment of a narration, making yourself modest is the embellishment of education, politeness is the embellishment of mind, relaxation of face is the embellishment of patience, deeming wise is the embellishment of asceticism, thus, effort is the embellishment of self, the more you cry is the embellishment of frighten, avoiding extravagance is the embellishment of satisfaction, avoiding the ask about a return to a kind act is the embellishment of kindness, contemplation is the embellishment of devotion and avoiding what you aren't concerned about is the embellishment of sanctity.
And he said (peace be upon him), "a thrall can't attain the truth of belief, until he prefers his religion to his pleasure, and he would not perish until he prefers pleasure to his religion".
Moreover, morality has four sorts: one of them, wisdom and its base is in thought, and the second: chastity and its base are in desire.
The third: Strength and its base are in anger, and the fourth: equity and its base are in mildness in self defense.
Besides, it was mentioned that man asked Al-Imam Al-Jawad (A.S.) to guide him: Al-Imam (A.S.) said: "be patient, espouse poorness, dissent sentiment, and be sure that God is not going abandon you, look how are you going to be".
All praise is due to Allah, the lord of the worlds.
