To Travel to Avoid Fasting of Ramadan

Q: May one escape fasting during the month of Ramadan by traveling?

A: It's unproblematic to travel during the month of Ramadan, irrespective of whether or not it is done for escaping purposes. However, doing so before the 23rd Ramadan is deemed makruh.
