In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Pilgrimage Season has two Characteristics

It is the nostalgia that burns inside us the latent longing glow to the Kaaba where its corners roar with compliances and where fragrance of prophets, the last of prophets (peace be upon him and his household) and his family (A.S.) diffuses from it and affects deeply in heart... Days will end quickly awaiting for the biggest pilgrimage, the day when the prince of pilgrimage announces the endeavor appeal and turns the rotations of circumambulation towards the axis of unification in order to realize gathering. "There are two important, permanent and non forgettable issues in the case of pilgrimage: the moral side at pilgrimage and the social and Umma side..." says Imam Khamenei.

The Moral Side

"Since its beginning until the end, the duty of pilgrimage is spiritual: it is the orientation and the sincerity towards the sacred divinity self and bringing out slavery before Allah Almighty", says Imam Khamenei about the moral side.

The Social and Umma Side

In this regard, Imam Khamenei poses a question: "Pilgrimage is a strange thing since people from different nationalities, with different habits and various languages meet together in one place and make one job... So what is expected and estimated from this meeting?".

"It is expected that all of those people reap the fruit of this meeting in that thing related to all sons of the Umma ...i.e. Islam. Why people are called to a private and identified place? They are called to be with each other in order to feel unity among themselves", answers Imam Khamenei.

Al-Ghadir is an Extension of Prophecy

Concerning the dimensions of Al-Ghadir, Imam Khamenei says: "human being can make a glance at the episode of Al-Ghadir with its various dimensions: it is the origin of guardianship issue which is an extension of prophecy... Prophecy means informing the divine appeal to humans and realizing the divine will through the emissary of God Almighty during a specific time. It is obvious to come to an end. (Surely you shall die and they (too) shall surely die). Nevertheless, this moral and divine event doesn’t end with the death of the prophet (peace be upon him and his household).

Imam Khamenei adds: "Al-Ghadir is a real episode that has a concept that might be completely understood by some people while others don’t. All people must pay attention to two correlated issues in this case:

First: Belief in Al-Ghadir, guardianship and imamate must not be a reason for distinction and separation between Muslims as the enemies of Islam try to exploit these little issues related to each Islamic group and faction to spread separation among Muslims so imagine how much they will exploit a great and important episode such Al-Ghadir...

Second: we ask all Islamic groups to work according to their Islamic basics. At the same time, we stress on Shia to adopt and rely on the thought of Al-Ghadir since it is an elevated and shiny thought".

Brethren Day

This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion﴿ (al-maaida:3), Says God Almighty.

"This day" in this blessed verse is 18th of Dhu-al-Hijjah of the 10th year A.H. when the Prophet (peace be upon him and his household and his family) publically announced the greatest guardianship to the Commander of the Faithful (A.S.) in order to become the biggest feast of God by which God perfected the religion, completed the favor and chose Islam as a religion.

One of the aspects of that favor which was completed on the day of Al-Ghadir is the unification of believers after their distinction as mentioned in the Holy Qur’an: And hold fast by the covenant of Allah all together and be not disunited, and remember the favor of Allah on you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts so by His favor you became brethren﴿ (aal-imraan: 103).

Brethren on AL-Ghadir Day

When brethren was a prominent title among the ethics of Al-Ghadir day, Islam made for it a special formula that shows the deep relation that God wants among the brothers of guardianship which is putting one believer his right hand on the right hand of his faithful brother and says: "I fraternized you before Allah, dealt honestly with you before Allah, shook hands with you before Allah and promised Allah, his angels, his books, his prophets, his messengers and infallible imams (peace be upon them) that if I were of intercession and heaven inhabitants and was allowed to enter to the heaven, I wouldn’t enter without you" so his faithful brother says: "I accept".

Charity of the Commander of the Faithful (A.S.) by his Ring

On the 24th of Dhu Al-Hijjah, the Commander of the Faithful (A.S.) gave his ring as charity during his prayer and Allah Almighty sent down the verse of guardianship: (Only Allah is your Vali and His Messenger and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow. And whoever takes Allah and His messenger and those who believe for a guardian, and then surely the party of Allah are they that shall be triumphant).

The story of the verse

Abou Zarr Al-Ghafari (may Allah bless him) insisted on releasing this blessed story believing that it is one of the biggest values and greatest virtues that God wanted to be eternal exactly as the holy Qur’an so he said:

"Once upon the time, when I was praying with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his household) the noon prayer, a beggar asked for aid in the mosque but no one responded so he raised his hand towards the sky and said: "O Allah shall you witness that I asked for aid in the mosque of the prophet (peace be upon him and his household) but no one responded while Imam Ali was kneeling made a sign by his right smallest finger where he was putting a ring until the beggar came to him and took the ring before the prophet (peace be upon him and his household) who when finishing his prayer, raised his head towards the sky and said: O Allah, when Moses asked you, you brought down on him a talking Qur’an: We will strengthen your arm with your brother, and We will give you both an authority, so that they shall not reach you; (go) with Our signs; you two and those who follow you shall be uppermost﴿ and I am Mohamad your close prophet so O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, And make my affair easy to me, And give to me an aider from my family: Ali, Strengthen my back by him﴿.

"Once the prophet (peace be upon him and his household) finished his word, Gabriel came down to the prophet (peace be upon him and his household) and said: O Mohamad, read Only Allah is your Vali and His Messenger﴿", said Abou Zarr.

After Martyrdom

Imam Baker (A.S.) bequeathed to weep over him after his martyrdom in Mena for ten years. He precised Mena for its particularity as it is the most important station for pilgrims' stability in it where they stay in without special rituals as in other places.

"Every person knows that this place is the best to convey any appeal all over the world particularly those days where there absence of mass media such as television, newspapers, etc… when a group of people cries over the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his household), certainly all people will ask about the reason of weeping since usually no one cries over a normal dead person after long years of his death. Several questions shall be posed: was he oppressed? Who oppressed him? And why was he oppressed? It is an accurate well planned jihad movement", commented Imam Khamenei.

The Redolence of Guardianship

Pilgrimage is for realizing the common interests of the Islamic nation, and being cautions and innocent from the enemy because the spirit and fact of Islam is unification and the Kaaba is the place and aspect of unification.

Rouh Allah's Call

Martyrdom is an eternal glory. It was an honor for saints as it is an honor for us too. Martyrdom for the sake of Allah is an honor for all of us.

Good Appetite!

Five hours passed and Hadi is under the shadow of a fig tree after being thrown thirty meters from his garrison. Serious shatters in the back and legs prevented him from standing up so he was compelled to crawl disguisably, under the shadow of the tree, a long distance of desolated land and the rest of burned trees due to bombs impacts. After feeling too thirsty, he took his bottle of water from his quiver but it was empty.

At that time, bombs were hissing then they exploded and their splinters scattered causing loud sound in the air and cutting some branches. And due to the intensive bombardment, fig fell down so he extended his hand, caught them, started eating, and thanked God for his kindness. While silence dominated, he heard a sound like the sound of iron door, he turned around and found to his right a frightened Zionist soldier entering a rural home then he took the balcony as location and pointed his weapon without seeing him originally…

Hadi crawled a little bit with his weapon in hands, quickly shot and killed him at once.
