In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Martyr and Martyrdom
Occasion: The Martyrdom of the Leader Al-Haj Immad Moghneieh
We offer condolences to Al-Imam Al-Mahdi (may God hasten his appearance), to the supreme leader of the Muslims Al-Imam Al-Khamenei (may God keep him), to Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah, the leader of the resistance (May God keep him) and to all Muslims especially strugglers, in the martyrdom of the leader Al-Haj Immad Moghneieh. We ask God to bestow him by his mercy with the prophets, the saints and martyrs, how good is it to be their companions.
1- The Meaning of Martyrdom: God assured that who is killed for the sake of Allah is not dead, so if the result of death is null according to the effectiveness of human being in this life, which usually begins from his knowledge. Thus, who is killed for the sake of Allah lives in the summit of life and vitality which he deserves through it the highest expression of knowledge, but also goes beyond it. The noble Islamic texts didn't name who is killed a scientific, or a realizer, neither a jurist nor a thinker or a poet; because all these terms imply a knowledge that are gained by the human mind. But it called him a martyr, because martyrdom is a highest state a human can attain when he gets the same thing and not what is similar to.
Thus, his happiness is completely different from the happiness which a human can get through this life which God talked about in his verse: ﴾and reckon not those who r killed for the sake of god as dead (nay), they are alive (and) are provided sustenance from their lord﴿.
2- The Martyr's Reward: the prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) talked about that there is no superiority between the killing for the sake of Allah and other acts of righteousness, he had said the following: "Above every piety there is another piety, until he is killed in Allah's way; if he is killed for the sake of Allah's way, there is no more piety above him." Excluding debt, which is one of the people's rights, martyrdom as it is assured by the prophet's family delete all human's wrongdoing. And that what was expressed by Al-Imam Al-Sadek when he said: "Who is killed for the sake of Allah, God won't make him knows any of his wrongdoing."
It was narrated about the prophet (peace be upon him) about the martyr's reward the following: "God offers the martyr seven attributes: the first drop of his blood makes all his sins absolved. And in the second drop his head falls on the bosom of his two wives of Hur-Al-Ain, both will remove the dust on his face and say; "You are welcome" he answers: "thanks". And in the third attribute: he will wear vesture especially from heaven. The fifth: he will see his home. In the sixth it is said for his soul, walk in paradise as you want. And in the seventh attribute to look to God's face, that gives comfort to every prophet and martyr."
Perhaps these differences leads us to the mystery of the martyrdom, the rest faithful, who have had after death a favor from Allah; when they offer them the opportunity to return back to life it was narrated about the prophet, "no one enters heaven and likes to return back to life or to own anything on earth, except the martyr he wishes to return back and be killed ten times, because of what he has seen from God's charisma."
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
