The Prayer

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Prayer

The Face of Religion

It is not a secret that the prayer has a great importance in Islam; it is the support and face for Islam, about Al-Imam Ali (A.S.), "Allah, Allah in prayer, it is a column of religion." And about Al-Imam Al-Sadek (A.S.), "for everything there is a face, and the face of your religion is prayer."

The Prophet (peace be upon him and his household) isn't Fed up of Prayer

The thing that every faithful should concern about considering prayer as it is considered by the prophet (peace be upon him and his household) and about that he said, "God made prayer the delight of the eye. Allah made me love prayer as he made the hunger love food, and water to thirsty, and the hunger if he eats is fed up and if the thirsty drank is quenched, and I don't sate of prayer."

Al-Imam Ali (A.S.) describes the prophet's situation while praying, saying: "the messenger of Allah had never favored dinner to prayer or anything else, and if it was its time, he didn’t know neither his family nor his intimate." From here comes the importance of caring about the prayer. Narrated that the prophet (peace be upon him and his household) said: "Let prayer be your concern, since it is the head of Islam after the recognition of religion."

Prayer on Time

About the son of Masoud that he had said: "I asked the prophet (peace be upon him and his household), which works are the best according to Allah? He said, "Prayer on time." And about Al-Imam Ali (A.S.), "look forward to the time of prayer, pray on time, never speed it because of a leisure time or delay it because of a certain work." And about Al-Imam Al-Sadek (A.S.), "if you pray the prayer, pray it on time, an applicant prayer who fears that he won't return back to it, then look to the place of your prostration, if you have known who is on your right and left side you have done well in your prayer and know that you are in the hands of who can see you but you can't see him."

Consequences of Delaying the Prayer

About the prophet (peace be upon him and his household): "who delays his prayer will not receive my intercession later." Also he had said, "the devil is still a fear to human being until he prays the five prayers on there time, if he delays them, the devil dares on him and enters him in great things." And about Al-Imam Al-Rida (A.S.): "Keep the daily prayers, since the human is not safe from incidents, and if a prayer time comes and he didn’t intentionally care about, he is wrong."

All the praise is due to Allah, the lord of the worlds
