In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Occasion: Hezbollah Martyr's Day
God said in his Holy Quran, ﴾and reckon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead (nay), they are alive (and) are provided sustenance from their lord ﴿ 1.
The Meaning of Martyrdom
Martyrdom is achieved when a human is killed in Allah's way, but the reason of calling him a martyr is mentioned because of several reasons:
1- He asked for martyrdom because he believes that it is a right, so he showed loyalty to that path until he was killed; in a meaning of: to show people that he was killed in Allah's way for the sake of prerogative.
2- Because he is one of the witnesses, who witness on people in the hereafter.
3- God and his angels are witnesses for him in heaven.
4- Because he is one of those who are martyred with the prophet Mohammad over the free nations.
5- Because his soul has been in Dar- Esalam.
6- Because God and his angels witness that he deserves paradise.
7- Because he has seen his recompense and respect through the exit of his soul.
8- Because he has a witness who assures that he is a martyr, which is his: blood.
It was mentioned about The prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his household) the following, "above every piety there is another piety, until he is killed for the sake of God; if he is killed for the sake of God, there is no more piety above him".
And in another narration about the prophet (peace be upon him and his household) has said, "no one enters heaven and likes to return back to life or to own anything on earth, except the martyr he wishes to return back and to be killed ten times, because of what he has seen from God's charisma."
In the same narration, Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his household) talked about martyrdom and its receptacles on human beings, "God offered the martyr seven attributes: the first drop of his blood makes all his sins absolved. And in the second drop his head falls on the bosom of his two wives of Hur-Al-Ain, both will remove the dust on his face and say; "you are welcome" he answers, "thanks"; and in the third attribute: he will wear a vesture especially from heaven. The fifth: he will see his home. In the sixth it is said for his soul, walk in paradise as you want. And in the seventh attribute to look to God's face, that gives comfort to every prophet and martyr".
Al-Zahraa (A.S..) and the Holiness of Martyrdom
It has known about Al-Zahraa (A.S.) that she has a holiness view towards the righteous martyrs, she had to begin her week by strengthening the relationship with them, through visiting their graves. It was said about Al-Imam Al-Sadek (A.S.), "Fatima had to come every Saturday to the martyr's grave, visits Al-Hamza grave and asks forgiveness for him". So this beginning every week shows how much the Islam appreciates the holy war, martyrdom and martyrs. To consider the beginning of the week and the basis of work, visiting martyrs tomb and benefiting from it. Also, there was another action done by Al-Zahraa (A.S.) towards Al-Hamza grave; thus, Al-Imam Al-Sadek (A.S.) has said in the description of the rosary beads that, "the black beads should be in a blue thread, thirty four bead, this is Al-Zahraa's (A.S.) rosary beads that she has done from the clay of Al-Hamza's grave, which she has to use after every prayer".
Infact, it seems that Al-Zahraa (A.S.) doesn't want to forget the martyrs with every prayer, worship and Allah's renowned, and that is a sign for martyr's receptacles.
May God endow us to be near the martyr's status, and to wedge us in their clique with the prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his household).
Eventually, all praise is due to Allah, the lord of the world.
