Prophet Mohammad Was…

Occasion: The Remembrance of The Prophetic Mission

We congratulate Imam Mahdi (May God hasten his appearance) and the Supreme Leader of the Muslims Sayyid Ali Khamenei (May God keep him), and all the believers and the strugglers, the remembrance of the noble prophetic mission in the twenty seventh of Rajab Al-Asab month, which Imam Khamenei (May God keep him) described it as: "The Prophetic Mission day is the greatest day in the humanity's history, in which in this day, the most prominent and noble concepts and values were set up".

Besides, Prophet Mohammad conversed about the goals of his blessing mission by: "I was sent to finalize the nobility of a character".

The prophet's personality and the greatness of his morals played an important role in spreading the Islamic call.

And hereinafter, we mention an abbreviated summary in which we discuss what was said about the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his household) personality:

1- His Politeness with God

Imam Al-Hassan (A.S.) said: "the prophet of Mohammad used to cry too much while he is praying to the extent that the place that he is praying at used to become wet because of the fear of God knowing that he doesn't perpetrate any sins… Besides, when he goes to pray, his face used to be dingy because of the fearing of God, and his voice was buzzing as the caldron buzzes".

And it was mentioned in the Hadith: "He used to wait the time of praying, and used to be so yearning to pray, he says to Bilal: "O Bilal let us relax".

And it was related to some of his wives that she said: "When Ramadan month starts, his color changes, and he prays too much, and prays humbly to God".

2- His Politeness with Him Self

Some of his wives said: "His model was the Holy Quran and the most detested thing with respect to him was lying… Besides, when he makes any thing, he makes his best to confirm it".

Furthermore, Al-imam Ali (A.S.) says: "All the time, he was so cheerful and soft, his morals were mild, he was neither rude nor coarse, he didn't mock at any one, he wasn't obscene, and he didn't use to criticize nor slander any one… He used to eat while sitting on the ground, and sits as the slave, and mends his shoe with his hand".

3- His Politeness with his Companions

Imam Al-Sadek (A.S.): "While speaking, he used look to his companions equally".

Abu Tharr Al-Ghefari (R.A.A.) said: "He used to sit near his companions, in which when someone comes; he doesn't know who he is until the person asks about him"…

And Anas said: "He used to ask about his companions if he doesn't meets him for three days, and if he was absent, he calls for him, and if he was a witness, he visits him, and if he was ill, he pays a visit to him".

4- His Asceticism

Ibn Abass said: "the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his household) used to sleep hungry, and his family weren't having dinner, and most of the times, they used to eat bread made up of barely".

The prophet (peace be upon him and his household) kept his promise in which he didn't take an interest to the world and to its garnishes, and he was asceticism, and Abi Imama narrated about Prophet Mohammad that he had said: "God offered me to change Mecca land to gold, I told Him, no God, I feel fall a day, and another day I feel hungry… And if I feel hungry, I supplicate to You, and if I was full, I thank and praise You".

This is a diminished figure about Prophet Mohammad's morals and biography and asceticism, and his keeping away from the world until he was dead.

Eventually, all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
