Al-Zahraa Glorification

Al-Zahraa Glorification

Martyrdom of Lady Fatima (A.S.)

We offer our deep condolence to The Master of This Time Imam Al-Mahdi (May God hasten his honorable revelation), the Muslims' Authority during the absence of Imam Al-Mahdi (May God hasten his honorable revelation) Imam Al-Khaminaei (May God lengthen his presence among us), for the martyrdom of Sayyda Fatima Al-Zahraa (God's peace bestowed upon her) on the third of Jumada the Last as it is stated in some narratives, and we ask God to bestow upon us her intercession and her infallible kids' intercession (peace be upon them), at the day of resurrection where nothing will be beneficial, neither wealth nor kids, and we ask Him also to let us be with them in the heaven.

It is well known that The Mistress of the Women of All the Worlds Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa used to glorify God Almighty too much, hence, it was mentioned about her many glorifications, such as: on the third day of each month, she used to say:

"Glory be to He who is illuminated with power and strength

Glory be to He who is concealed in the seven heavens, so no eye can see Him

Glory be to He who subdued creation through death

and honored Himself through (everlasting) life

Glory be to He who will remain (forever)

and everything else will perish

Glory be to He who made praise exclusively for Himself

and He is pleased with that

Glory be to the Ever-Living, the All-Knowing

Glory be to the Forbearing, the Generous

Glory be to the King, the Holy

Glory be to the High, the Mighty,

Glory be to Allah and with His praise".

The story of Fatima's Glorification

Lady Fatima (A.S.) was accustomed to say a special glorification which the Messenger of Allah taught her as The Commander of the Faithful narrated: "She was in my house, and he was the loveliest one for her father, the Messenger of Allah, she kept on performing the pious acts, and this affected her chest, and grind with the quern till her hands became blistered, she swept the house till she was dust-covered, kindled the fire on the pot which led to the darkness of her clothes, these things infected her.

So I told her: why don't you see your father (peace be upon him and his household) and ask him to bring you a servant to help you, so that you will relax a little.

After that she went to the prophet to ask him, but the prophet was in a meeting with a person, so she felt shy and left.

He said: the prophet knew that she came asking about something.

He said: He came toward us… He said: peace be upon you… I said: peace be upon you… come in…

He entered and sat. He talked with Fatima: O Fatima! What was your need yesterday when you came to my home?

She replied saying: I was afraid if I called you, then the man will leave… Then I (The Commander of the Faithful) answered the Prophet by saying: she kept on performing the pious acts, this affected her chest, and grinding with the quern till her hands became blistered, sweeping the house till she was dust-covered, and kindling the fire on the pot which led to the darkness of her clothes.

So I told her: Why don't you go to your dad, and ask him about a servant so that you can feel comfortable after that.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his household) said: I will teach you something that is better from the servant: before going to sleep, glorify God Almighty by saying: Glory be to Allah (33 times), All Praise is for Allah (33 times), and Allah is the Greatest (34 times)… Then she (A.S.) said: I am pleased with God and his messenger."

The Merit of Al-Zahraa (A.S.) glorification:

Lots of prophetic traditions were mentioned and shed the light on the merits of this glorification. For example: “Reciting Tasbeeh of Hazrat Zahra (s.a.) everyday after every prayers is liked by me more than reciting one thousand rakats of (mustahab) prayers. He adds to say: He who glorify Fatima's glorification, will mentiong and glorifing God greatly".

Imam Abi Jaafar (A.S.) said: "the one glorifies Al-Zahraa's glorification, followed by asking God's forgiveness 100 times, then he will be rewarded about it 1000 reward in the day of resurrection, will excel the devil, and pleases the God Almighty".

Imam Al-Sadiq (A.S.) says: “One who recites the glorification of lady Zahraa (A.S.) after wajib prayers before he stretches out his legs (i.e. he recites the Tasbeeh while he is in the posture of Tashahud), then heaven becomes wajib upon him.

Besides, it was narrated that after her uncle Hamza (A.S.) died, Lady Fatima (A.S.) made a rosary from his grave's clay and glorifies God with it after each prayer.

This glorification is so important to the extend that it was mentioned the importance of urging on teaching the kids to perform it, and with this respect, Imam Al-Sadiq (A.S.) said: "We order our guys to perform Al-Zahraa's glorification, as well as performing prayers, and he who doesn't perform it, will become miserable".

Eventually, all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
