Q: Is it permissible to follow one mujtahid in some issues and another one in other issues?
A: There is no problem in tab‘id in taqlid (i.e. to follow more than one mujtahid). Rather, presuming that each mujtahid is the most learned with respect to the particular issue(s) in which he is followed, the tab‘id in taqlid will be obligatory if their verdicts differ in that particular issue(s).
