1- The Scientific Character of Imam Sadiq (A.S.)
Imam Sadiq (A.S.) possessed a vast knowledge, wisdom and sense of justice. He founded an Islamic school and trained many students who had played special rules in the science history.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.) promoted the Islamic sciences including the Jurisprudence, the Speculative Theology, Interpretation and Ethics. In addition to the Islamic sciences, Imam was conversant with the Medicine, Chemistry, Algebra and many other techniques. Amongst his students, we can allude to:
Muhammad Ibn Moslim Saqafee Kufie, Zorareh Ibn Sheibanie Kufie, Homran Ibn A'ayon Sheibanie, Abdullah Ibn Kufie, Jamil Ibn Dorraje, Hosham Ibn Hakam, Ali Ibn Ja’far, … and etc.
2- Imam Sadiq (A.S.), the Founder of the Shi'ist School
Among the Shi'ite Imams, because of his struggle for the exaltation of this holy religion, Imam Sadiq (A.S.) was entitled to the founder of the Shi'ism School.
3- Politico-social Status of Imam Sadiq’s (A.S.) Imamate
The Imam’s life was coincided with the Ummavian’s rule for 50 years, so for a long time he was the witness of Islam Ummah’s disasters by the Ummavid government.
His life was also coincided with the collapse of Ummavian rule, the beginning of Abbasian rule and Abu Moslim Khorasani’s rising.
The martyrdom of Imam Sadiq (A.S.) occurred ten years after Mansure Abbasi’s rule.
4- The Shu'ubites Sect (the Nationalists) during Imam Sadiq’s (A.S.) lifetime
By raising of the Islamic victories and dialogue among the various races, the probability of the racial riot increased. But the holy religion of Islam, which invited the Muslims to equality and fraternity, opposed this discrimination on the grounds of race.
The history proved that the Ummavians initiated such these racial confrontations and clashes, and their belief in “The Islam is equal with Arab ethnic" motivated the other tribes.
