Necessity of Admonition

Admonition is the life of the hearts, admonition makes one on his guard, the best of gifts is admonition, death is the best of preachers, admonition changes time and people regarding what they have been inflicted by and what they became, the end of admonition is the Day of Judgment which is a sufficient preacher, this world is a place of warning and admonition, the prudent sees admonition in every thing (in a letter addressed by Mousa Al-Kadhim to Haroon Al-Rasheed he says to him: “in everything you see by your own eyes there is an admonition”).

The Most Eloquent Admonition

The Book of Allah, looking at the perdition of people, lessons learnt from the demise of the forerunners.

In all moral and narrative books there is one or another form of admonition, this is the advantage of “Nahj Al-Balaghah” (a book by Ali Ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him)”, refer to it.

Rules of Admonition

Laconism, silently preaching, warn oneself before others.
