Ahmed Sékou Touré, the president of Guinea-Conakry, was one of the national
leaders of Africa. He came to Iran a few times during his term of presidency.
Once he came here during the Sacred War. He said: "Do not be surprised by the
war that has been waged against your country. Whenever there is a revolution
that is opposed to colonial and arrogant systems and influential superpowers,
one of the first things that they do to deal with the revolution is to incite
one of the neighboring countries to wage a war against that revolution. This is
a general rule, and it is no wonder that it has applied to you as well. You have
been attacked along only one border, but we were attacked by five countries
along fives borders!" Guinea- Conakry is a small country that is surrounded by
many countries. Ahmed Sékou Touré was a revolutionary person who had come to
power through a revolution, and as a result his country had been attacked.
