Combining Janabah and Menses Ghusls

Q: Before doing ghusl of janabah, my menstrual period started. Shall I do one or two ghusls after becoming pure of menses? If one ghusl would be enough, with what intention should I do it? Am I not allowed to attend mourning ceremonies held for Imam husayn (a.s.) as I am in janabah until my period is over?

A: A single ghusl is enough and just intending ghusl of janabah is sufficient to include both. A junub or menstruating woman is not prevented from attending a mourning ceremony of Imam husayn (a.s.) unless it entails insult or disrespect.
