Supreme Leader Meets with President Rouhani and Cabinet Members (27/08/2014)

Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met Wednesday morning with President Rouhani and cabinet members. Speaking at the meeting, His Eminence referred to the good and valuable services of the eleventh administration: creating psychological tranquility, controlling inflation and exchange rates and implementing the healthcare plan. He called on all government officials to preserve and strengthen their revolutionary orientation and spirit, to rely on domestic capacities and domestic production, to implement the policies on the economy of resistance in a careful way, to pay careful attention to the industrial and agricultural sectors in villages, to take a serious outlook towards the issue of scientific growth, to strengthen knowledge-based companies, to adopt clear positions on regional and global issues - particularly on the issue of America's interferences - to preserve the solidarity of the administration and to observe red lines particularly on the issue of the fitna of the year 1388.

Preceding the Supreme Leader's statements, President Rouhani referred to the administration's efforts to create stability and tranquility in society and to raise the people's hopes about the future growth and development of the country.
